We are in search of a full-time Accounting Manager to work with our professional team in Delray Beach, FL OR Spicer, MN. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects in our finance and payroll/HR departments.
Monthly close – general ledger account chart maintenance and account reconciliations. Maintain a written manual and compliance of accounting policies and procedures.
Great Plains dynamics experience is highly desired. Duties include management of Microsoft program deliverables. Detailed duties include managing cash, receivables, payables & fixed asset sub-systems.
Financial Reporting – P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reporting & analysis. Responsibilities include annual Accounting Review.
Budgets & Analysis – assist in analyzing performance variances and expense control. Prepare necessary schedules for support of Strategic Plan.
Monthly performance metric reporting
Cash flow – ensure rapid and consistent collection of the receivable base, and related cash flow matters.
PO process – deliver a PO process that follows approved company standards.
Contract Administration – Manage areas of client and vendor contracts, reconciliations, billings, and documentation filing.
Bank Relations – assist VP Finance as needed with bank reporting as needed
Insurance – Assist in property, casualty, worker comp and related coverage and insurance requirements.
Sales Tax – ensure timely sales tax reporting / payment processes. Sales of our software products in the US require billing, collection and payment of all taxes due.
Time-Accounting Process – assure a superior service billing process and procedure.
Assist tax firm with any schedules and projection of federal corporate tax liability.
Capital Budgeting – maintain a CapX tracking process and assist in the necessary funding lines.
Cross train with payroll functions including:
Processing biweekly payroll,
Reconcile payroll taxes, deposits and respective reports.
Quarterly payroll tax processing
Cross train with human resources to maintain and reconcile all employee benefit programs.
Administrative tasks including processing employee enrollment into benefit programs.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and proven problem solving skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize duties

Maintain strict confidentiality

2-4 year Degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience with Internet sales, regulatory and accounting practices
3-5 years of Accounting experience
Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains software experience is highly desired
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
